Munster Junior Closed:
Well done to all who travelled to Dunhill, Co. Waterford for this competition. Paul O'Mahony won the BU15 title and Sophie O'Rourke won the GU13. Orla Jeffries was runner-up in the GU15 and Eoin Murphy won the BU13 plate.

Munster Junior Open – Highfield Squash Club, 10/11th December:
Congratulations to Philip McSweeney, who won the Boys U-15 section of the tournament, and also to Paul O’Mahony, who came 4th in the same event. Well done also to Barry Lynch who competed in the BU13 section, and to Sophie and Cathy O’Rourke who competed in the GU13 and GU15 sections respectively.

Ulster Junior Open:
Congratulations to Paul O’Mahony who recently came 3 in the BU15 section of this tournament on 15-16 October last. Well done Paul!

New Junior Coaching:
Following on from last year’s successful Munster Squash junior development programme initiative, this season Highfield is pleased to announce that it will again be running an extended version of the programme starting on Saturday, 5 November from 5.30-7pm each week. It is open to the children of Highfield members aged 8-18, as well as their friends from the local school or neighbourhood.

Cyril O’Mahony and Bryan Aherne will be providing the coaching, with other club coaches becoming involved depending on numbers. There will be a nominal charge of €2 per child per session to cover the cost of court lights. To register your child’s interest and details, please complete the form to the right.
